The Mythos Humbuckers are wound by the fantastic people at Porter Pickups to Zach’s exacting specifications. The V1 set is our attempt to distill all the classic PAF tones we come to expect from humbucker wound in the mid 1950’s. The V1 Set of Mythos Humbuckers have a clear/present voice with full mid-range without being overly boomy in the low end. The attack of the note has that woody/airy quality that, to us, is a defining characteristic of a true PAF style pickup.
For this run the sets read a little lower! Neck position will read in the mid 7k range with the Bridge output being in the mid 8k range, for a great balance. All sets are matched for the best balance between neck and bridge,
